Change farming processes that are environmentally harmful to ones that are better for the environment

It's important for ensuring both a safe and environmentally clean future and one that will reach our carbon emissions targets. The effects of climate change are already present in New Zealand's climate and only stands to aggressively worsen-taking action now will serve to minimise the effects of this. It also safeguards our economy and the livelihoods of our rural communities, as they will have a head start in a necessary and inevitable industry (cleaner and greener farming), which will stand to save New Zealand millions of dollars.
