This, while not being very specific on what form the hub should take, looks to be in the same class as Max Rashbrooke's suggestion for a crowd-sourced legislation site. Anything which offers a more effective collaboration between decision makers and decision takers is to be applauded. Of course, folk meeting face-to-face with adequate time and resources for effective deliberation will always trump anything online, but we will take any innovation we can get on the route.

I almost missed this idea. I'm sure we can all agree with this one.
I take it you're talking about this report. It's not rude to point:)[…]/

In the media world the hubmaster has been called a community manager for a long time now. I guess this comes down to how proactive the ogp secretariats, and their peers in each country, want to be.[…]/great-community-management-tips

There are plenty of examples of communities that would be interested a National basis. e.g.

But the trouble we have is that every COP is global these days, and we see so little collaboration between National/regional gov community managers in (at least a few) different countries.

Mind you, this suggestion has been made for years. Seems OUTREACH isn't in any National lingo.

    OK Thanks,

So by putting this up someone is listening. Not exactly engaging; but its a start.
So your peers over the ditch in NSW.
Trying to do much the same thing. But using a different approach, with different tools, at different times.

A couple of examples of what different countries do`re: COP.
one is at state level in Oz.
Another is national and in the UK.
